I choose to work in this industry because I love the process of designing and I love people. I began designing, decorating and organizing for the public at the age sixteen for multiple schoolteachers, and by referrals around the community. I have been interested in color pallets and various techniques from a very young age. Rearranging furniture in my own home weekly. Always coming up with better techniques for utilizing space and creating better organization techniques. Painting walls as often as parents would allow! I Took Acrylic, Oils, Watercolors, Charcoal and Pastel Chalk art classes since grade school from various artists. Winning many First place and Best of Show in various functions at a young age, I knew when I grew up designing was my calling! Working and living in Colorado the last six years bringing the outside in has been the up most inspiring.

How much do your Design services cost?
I work at an hourly rate of $65.00. However, no project is too small.
Charges for Faux painting techniques can vary from $65.00 to $90 per hour depending on the technique.
How can I visualize the space with the completed end result?
My clients have a tremendous amount of faith in me, but with samples of materials and a step-by-step consultation, you'll get a clear vision quickly.
How long will the process take?
There's some lead-time required when ordering furniture and fabrics. But because I'll strive to help you plan your new space well, we'll know what time is required within the very early part of the new space planning process. I work with your schedule too. And that allows me to be efficient in our planning.
Do you work in a specific area?
I am based in Evergreen Colorado. However, I often explore design opportunities that require travel. I would enjoy the opportunity to meet you and learn more about your design project.
How does purchasing furniture, fabric, lighting fixtures, wall coverings, benefit me when I purchase these materials through your services?
Rustic point has an abundance of quality furniture to choose from! Along with fabrics, wall art, accessories and lightning. If we cant accommodate from our immediate store location we can customize or find items offered only available to the trade, that are truly unique as opposed to items offered through retail channels. My design resources become an excellent opportunity to explore the most creative design options possible for your home or office!
Do you work with old homes? Or new homes, or both?
Both. I enjoy the cleanliness of a new space — it's like a blank canvas — highly flexible and waiting to be filled with ideas. And an old home is surrounded in so much tradition — the goal is to update the home and maintain its inherently beautiful character. It's wonderful to work with a space that has a strong history, because I can develop designs that compliment that history.
